Who are the workers of iniquity who shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

The main subject we are dealing with in this prophetic message is:
“Who are the workers of iniquity who shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven?”

However, the timing (15 August) is as important as the subject, from the point of view that it is all about the spirit of Deception that works Idolatry in the hearts even of God’s people – same as the doctrine of the Assumption of Mary and therefore her deification by the Catholic Church.

By George E Markakis, 15 August 2023.

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

[“practice lawlessness” – literally “workers of iniquity”]

Hosea 6:7 But they [Efraim, Juda] like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me. 8 Gilead [is] a city of them that work iniquity, [and is] polluted with blood. 9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, [so] the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness. 10 I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel: there [is] the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.

“the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness”
Septuagint: “the priests have hid the way … they have wrought iniquity in the house of Israel”

Jesus spoke a parable that was direct reference to Malachi 3:18

Matthew 21:28 “But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ 29 “He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went. 30 “Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I [go,] sir,’ but he did not go. 31 “Which of the two did the will of [his] father?” They said to Him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.

We also remember the words of Jesus:

Matthew 12:48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! 50 “For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”.

Now these words of the prophet make sense in the light of the above:

Jeremiah 23:16 Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, not from the mouth of the LORD. 17 They continually say to those who despise Me, ‘The LORD has said, “You shall have peace” ’; and to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’ ”

“They continually say to those who despise Me”
Septuagint: “They say to them that reject the word of the Lord”.

Jeremiah 23:21 “I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 22 But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings.

Conclusion about the “workers of iniquity”

First, it is clear that the Lord speaks about His own people, even those whom He has called and anointed to serve Him as His ministers.

Someone who serves as a minister of the Lord may do great works, even miracles, as we read in Matthew 7:23:
‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

Nonetheless, if these works are not in direct obedience to the word of the Lord for the specific occasion, and thus fail to fulfill the specific will and work of Heavenly Father, according to all that we read in the Bible, the Lord regards such ministers who do not seek His will but act independently from Him on their own accord and freewill as workers of iniquity – whose “house” shall not stand but eventually will fall, and, they may not enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Mat.7:21).
