On Friday Sept. 30 the Lord drew my attention to these two excerpts from the Bible:
John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have abundance (or, overflowing).
Deuteronomy 10:10 “As at the first time, I stayed in the mountain forty days and forty nights; the LORD also heard me at that time, [and] the LORD chose not to destroy you. 11 “Then the LORD said to me, ‘Arise, begin [your] journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.’ 12 “And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
When I read “I stayed in the mountain forty days and forty nights” in my heart I knew the Lord was giving me a strategy in the face of John 10:10 and for the purpose stated in Deut. 10:11 “Arise, begin your journey that they may go in and possess the land”.
In other words, while the thief has come to steal, to kill, to destroy (ref. COVID-19, now Russia’s war and the energy crisis, etc), the Lord wants to lead us, His people, to possess our God-given inheritance – which is the manifestation of the Gospel of the Kingdom in the Earth. That includes true and everlasting life, and, abundance of blessings while we are still alive in the Earth.
That is the Biblical concept of possessing the Promised Land which is shown in these words:
Deuteronomy 11:10 “For the land which you go to possess [is] not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered [it] by foot, as a vegetable garden; 11 “but the land which you cross over to possess [is] a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, 12 “a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God [are] always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
As we read in the stories of the people of Israel who marched against their enemies so that they might possess their God-given inheritance, holiness and obedience were key factors for them to win the wars against their enemies. When there was sin in the camp of God, they were defeated by their enemies.
Online call with Stefan (a friend who is a Pastor in Austria)
Stefan saw a vision of a foot stomping on the ground and silver covered the ground instantly, and Stefan understood it to the Lord purifying His people. In the Bible silver symbolizes purification:
Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD [are] pure words, [like] silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Malachi 3:3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness.
The timing
The call for 40 days of dedication was given to me on Sept. 30 and I knew it was to start from October 1. 40 days of dedication take us to November 10. Why this timing?
1) October is one of the darkest months of the year, with Oct. 31 (Halloween and Satan’s highest day of celebration with human sacrifices) being the peak.
2) We have just come out of the Feast of Trumpets/Rosh HaShanah entering New Hebrew Year 5783.
Three years of trials, tribulations, sorrows, pain, death behind us
Now ahead of us seven years of power, miracles, growth, multiplication, abundance
God’s Promises are conquered by wars fought by prayer in the heavenly places; through seasons of dedication and seeking the Face and the Voice of the Lord for battle strategy.
It is a New Day, a day of light, joy, celebration, glory, prosperity and expansion for great fruitfulness. It is a day of victory over the powers of Darkness that have come to test the world, which failed to subdue the faith in the hearts of God’s servants who remained humble and chose self-denial and submission.
2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of [those] whose heart [is] loyal to Him.
