Some of the message:
We begin by remembering what the Lord had said before the (new at the time) decade 2020 dawned on the world: “I am coming, and nothing will be the same again”!

Indeed, the “visitation” of the Lord that began in 2020 has brought about such a great change, that within two years of COVID-19 nothing was the same as before, in both, the Church, and the world. Then, 2022, the 3rd year into the new decade, has been the pinnacle of what the Lord meant, as the changes continued to overtake us, same as an avalanche coming down the mountain.

The first word I heard for the new year 2022 was “change of scenery”. I am reading from my notes of Friday, December 31, 2021: “Just as the curtain closes in the Theater and the setting changes, and when the curtain opens a whole new environment has been created, so the Lord will change the setting in this coming year.” So, indeed we already have a change of scenery.

Darkness is gradually taking over Europe on all fronts: the political, social, economic and the national. This is clearly God’s judgment over the Continent of Europe, but we will not look at it now. We’ll rather turn our eyes to see what the Lord’s visitation is doing among His people.

When it comes to the Church, there is a new paradigm that has taken root and is gradually expanding; that is associated with a new generation of believers but is not limited to it. A steady shift is taking place in what used to be a fixed Church-mentality over generations.

What used to be considered “Church” was mainly associated with, and tied to, the building used for the “Church” meetings and services, and the program. But now, the new paradigm, the new generation, and the new technological means available to the world have begun to expand the concept of “Church” beyond what is associated with the building and the program.

Now the “Church” is becoming more of a people with a face and a name-centered activity, as opposed to a service-centered program in a building where the people, their faces and their names were irrelevant and made no difference to the running of the program, which was almost like a show.

At the end of 2019, one of the things that the Lord spoke was the same that He said to the Church in Sardis (Rev. 3:1-6). You can read that on your own, here we shall only say that the emphasis was that: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead”. I believe the Lord was speaking that for the Church mainly in Europe, but perhaps also for all the Western nations.

The Bible leads us to understand that a time of God’s visitation is first a time of Judgment for the purpose of Justice; unfortunately for us, that can also lead to loss and devastation. It is also a time of Truth that exposes the delusions and the lies; a time of Holiness that separates between the genuine and the false, the pure and the impure, the holy and that which has been infected by the world.

As we come to the close of 2022, I believe that during these first 3 years of the new decade of the 20’s, the Lord’s visitation served the purpose of Judgment for the purpose of Justice, and to prepare the Church for the new work of the Holy Spirit that He is going to do in the coming 7 years before we reach the next great moment in time, the year 2030.

The last words of Jesus to the Laodicean Church were “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne”. But there is no particular enemy described in the words to the Laodiceans.

I believe the true enemy is at work within the Church causing the lukewarmness, the spiritual blindness, and the false conviction that all is well; that is the spirit of the world which has come into some of the Church same as when the cold water of this world is poured into the same vessel, together with the boiling hot waters of the Spirit of God. It seems like the living waters are flowing, except they are not boiling hot by God’s fire, as they are mixed with the cold water of this world.

Jesus said to the Laodiceans, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me”. I believe this to be a focal point for many churches in the coming year 2023. His desire is “to dine with us”; that is about a very personal relation with Jesus rather than doing things for Him. It is important to also do things for Jesus, but I think that in 2023 the Lord is placing the emphasis on knowing Him personally, experiencing His Presence and hearing His Voice, rather than running church services and programs for Him.
