Become New Wineskins – prophetic flow @BEWEGEN22.
As part of the prophetic flow of the gathering BEWEGEN by Peter Ischka on Monday morning 31 October 2022, George E Markakis led a brief session for the sake of helping the participants “become new wineskins”.
This is in preparation of the “new thing” that the Lord wants to do at this time in and among His people, as repeated prophetic words have been saying.

The concept of becoming new wineskins is with reference to the words of Jesus in Matthew 2:22
“No one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins”.
The concept of “new wine” was symbolic of the new move of God through Jesus, which involved both new teaching and a new work of the Holy Spirit.
In our days the same concept is still true from time to time, when the hearts of religious people may become hardened overtime, so as to resist and fight against any new moves of the Holy Spirit – which is in fact a constant when it comes to how God works in the world.
He is always a God who does a new thing, over and over again. As water is the same, water, but the water is either constantly flowing and is alive, or, remains stagnant and becomes poisonous.
So, the symbolism of the new versus old wineskins is an invitation by the Lord for all believers to regularly keep our “wineskins” refreshed and restored so that we may at all times be prepared to receive “new wine from Heaven” as God wills to pour out.
