God who heals, and God’s Justice and Judgment
Proverbs 12:12 The desires of the ungodly are evil; but the roots of the godly grow [the plant that was cut] again to yield fruit [or, NET: the righteous root endures, or, flourishes again].
Number 12 is symbolic of authority for Justice and Righteous Judgment
In the 12 gates of Jerusalem there were 12 seats (thrones) of authority for Justice and passing Judgment. The first 12 Apostles sat on 12 thrones to judge the 12 tribes of Israel.
There is an important statement of the Lord in Exodus 12:12 “… against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment; I [am] the LORD”. God’s judgments against “the gods of Egypt” had physician manifestations of natural disasters and deaths of the people who worship them.
Exodus 15:26 “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I [am] the LORD who heals you.”.
What is written here shows that “Yahweh Raffa” does not mean “I [am] the LORD who heals you” – that is man’s, man-centered interpretation. God’s words describe His own definition of Raffa: “I will put none of the diseases on you”.
In the Bible, God promises longevity of life, and the closure to come in peace at the fullness of days on the earth, yet, only under strict conditions stated in the Bible. Obviously, the death of the martyrs is an exception.
Proverbs 3:1 My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; 2 For length of days and long life and peace they will add to you.
Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that you may live a long time in the land the LORD your God is giving to you.
Deuteronomy 30:20 that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He [is] your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.
Deuteronomy 6:1 Now this [is] the commandment, [and these are] the statutes and judgments which the LORD your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe [them] in the land which you are crossing over to possess·
2 “that you may fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.
3 “Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe [it,] that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you–‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’
God promises to judge disobedience
Exodus 20:7 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold guiltless anyone who takes his name in vain.
1 Corinthians 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this reason many [are] weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
Revelation 2:22 “Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 2
3 “I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
